What languages does Rypl reply in?

Rypl replies in the language each comment is written in. A French comment gets a French reply and a Polish one a Polish reply, from the same agent and the same knowledge base.
In RYPL's Q3 2026 data, 70% of the comments RYPL's AI analyzed weren't in English, and about 4 in 5 advertisers got comments in two or more languages.
Can I choose the reply language?
Yes. Reply language is a channel setting: on Channels, click the gear on the channel's row and find it on the AI Agent tab:
- Detect automatically (default): replies in the language of each comment.
- A specific language: every reply on the channel goes out in that language.
Do I need to translate the knowledge base?
No. The agent uses it whatever language the comment is in. Add what really differs by market, such as local prices or shipping terms.
In languages with formal and informal "you" (French tu and vous, German du and Sie), say which to use in the agent's instructions.
Replies to DMs
Yes. Rypl replies to Messenger and Instagram Direct messages as well as comments, within 24 hours of the person's last message, as Meta allows.
Older comments
No. Rypl works on comments and messages that arrive after you connect a channel and turn it on. Earlier comments stay as they are.
