Can Rypl hide a real comment by mistake?

It can happen, and it is easy to undo. A hidden comment isn't deleted: you can show it again from Conversations, and the author isn't told it was hidden.
How to keep mistakes rare
- Use Review first while you add rules. It is one setting for all your rules, in Global rules. Matches wait for your decision in Needs attention instead of being hidden. Switch to Apply automatically once the rule catches the right comments.
- Check what was hidden. In Conversations, filter by All hidden or deleted in the first days. See How do I see the comments Rypl hid?
- Protect what must stay. A rule with the action Allow keeps matching comments safe from Hide negative and Delete negative. It doesn't override banned words, Hide all, Delete all, the Strict Spam & Media Filter or a stricter rule that also matches.
- Fix the cause. If a word or rule catches the wrong comments, change it, so the next one isn't hidden too.
Delete can't be undone. Use it only for what you are sure must go, such as scams. See Should I hide or delete a comment?
Moderation rules
Write a rule in plain words, such as "hide comments with links to other shops", and choose what Rypl does with a match. Pro and Ultra.
Block an author
In Conversations, open a comment and click Block author. Rypl hides their comments and every new one on that channel. They aren't notified.
