Why was I charged a partial amount by Rypl?
Updated
A partial charge means you upgraded in the middle of a billing period. Rypl charges the prorated difference between the two plans for the days left in the period, and the new plan starts right away. From the next period you pay the new plan's full price.
- Before you confirm, Settings shows the amount, for example "~$12.40 prorated charge for 9 days".
- During the free trial an upgrade costs nothing until the trial ends.
- On a yearly plan the real charge is higher than the estimate in Settings; your receipt shows the exact amount.
- Every charge has a receipt. Lemon Squeezy, which processes Rypl's payments, emails one for each charge.
