How to Auto-Reply to Facebook Comments (2026)
Facebook doesn't post public replies to comments for you. Meta Business Suite's Comment to message automation answers a comment containing a keyword with a Messenger message, and Moderation Assist can hide comments automatically, but neither writes a public reply. Public auto-replies under posts and ads come from tools connected through Meta's Graph API.

Can you auto-reply to comments on Facebook?
Not publicly with Meta's own tools. Business Suite can send a Messenger message when a comment has a keyword; public replies need a tool on Meta's API.
Send a Messenger reply with Meta Business Suite
Comment to message: a private message to people whose comment contains your keywords. Desktop only.

Open Automations
In Meta Business Suite on desktop, go to Inbox > Automations.

Create the automation
Click Create automation, choose Comment to message, then set the keywords and the message.

Switch it on
Turn on the Status toggle. The reply arrives in Messenger, not under the post.
