ReplyZen is an Italian product (New Media S.r.l.) built around a single agent that moderates, tags and replies to comments on ads and organic posts across Facebook, Instagram and TikTok. Its distinctive choices are volume-based pricing and a publishing pipeline with a confidence score: you decide whether replies go live automatically, only above a certainty threshold, or only after a person approves them.
Rypl is built around the same job with different defaults: flat pricing with no cap on comments processed, a named GPT model on each plan, intent detection that routes buying signals, and on Ultra a conversation memory that carries context between a commenter's visits. Replies publish automatically; you rewrite any of them or take over a thread from the dashboard.
Both connect through Meta's Graph API and TikTok's official API via OAuth. Neither scrapes or drives a browser, so neither carries the ban risk of unofficial tools.

The entry price is close. The cost curve is not.
On ReplyZen a reply is a metered unit. 500 AI replies a month goes quickly under one active campaign; a launch week can spend it in days. At 1,500 replies you are on the $69 plan, at 5,000 on the $149 plan, at 10,000 on the $249 plan. The moderation quotas are more generous, but the reply quota is the one an active advertiser hits first.
On Rypl the plan price is the price. Pro is $49/mo whether the month brings 500 comments or 50,000, because the plans cap accounts and pages, not tasks. For an advertiser whose volume follows campaign performance, which is every advertiser, that is the difference between a bill you can forecast and one that rewards you for a viral ad with a tier upgrade.
Where ReplyZen's model works in your favor: unlimited pages and team seats on the $29 plan. An agency with many low-volume client pages gets a lot of coverage for very little, as long as the total reply count stays inside the quota. Which AI models do Rypl and ReplyZen use?
Rypl runs OpenAI's GPT-5 family and names the model on each plan: GPT-5.4 Nano on Simple, GPT-5.6 Luna on Pro, GPT-5.6 Sol on Ultra. You know what is writing your replies, and you know what you are upgrading to.
ReplyZen says it uses "models from OpenAI and Google for text understanding and conversation" plus specialized models for image and video analysis, and that you can ask for a specific model on your profile. It does not publish which versions run on which plan.
Both read more than the comment. ReplyZen analyzes the post's image or video, scrapes any linked URL and can search approved websites for an answer. Rypl reads the ad creative (image, video, copy) and the comment thread before replying on Pro and above, and on Ultra keeps the full thread history plus memory of earlier conversations with the same person, so a "does it come in XL?" on Monday and a "how fast is shipping?" on Wednesday are one conversation, not two.

What does ReplyZen do better?
Human review before publishing. This is ReplyZen's strongest feature and the reason a cautious team should look at it. You can run in manual mode where every AI reply lands as a draft, or set a confidence threshold so only replies the AI is sure about go live and the rest wait for a person. For a new client, a regulated category, or a brand that has been burned by automation, that gate is worth a lot.
Links and attribution. ReplyZen inserts links into replies when they help, shortens them, tracks clicks and UTMs, and attributes conversions with its own pixel. Which one should you choose?
